Traceable coastal information

Where the beach directory comes from

BeachGo combines named datasets; it does not invent missing facts. Every published beach has stable coordinates and source evidence, while uncertain records remain out of search indexes until their evidence improves.

Publishing rules

Quality-gated, not quantity at any cost

The repeatable content build validates UK country membership, coordinates, identity, source evidence and imagery. Pages without enough evidence can remain available for visitors and corrections but receive a noindex directive and are omitted from sitemaps.

Possible duplicates are placed in a review report and are never merged automatically. Existing public slugs are preserved in a registry so refreshed data does not casually break canonical URLs.

Conditions, restrictions, patrols, water quality and facilities can change. Always check local signs and the linked official source before relying on a detail.
